Joel Zlotnick is employed by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Consular Affairs, Counterfeit Deterrence Laboratory as a supervisory physical scientist. His current work involves research in security artwork and design techniques in security printing. He is an instructor on counterfeit detection at the U.S. Department of State Foreign Service Institute. Previously, Mr. Zlotnick held positions at the Homeland Security Investigations and U.S. Secret Service forensic laboratories. He holds a B.S. in chemistry and M.S.F.S. in forensic science.
