Lauren Uppink Calderwood is the Safe and Secure Mobility Lead at the World Economic Forum, with responsibility for the Future of Security in Travel Initiative, a global multi-stakeholder project which seeks to anticipate the risks, and leverage the opportunities, associated with the emergence of Fourth Industrial Revolution Technologies on the secure movement of people internationally. 

Lauren is a public policy professional, with experience leading innovative public-private partnership projects to address development policy concerns including transit-oriented development, public health and labour market policy. Lauren holds an MPhil in Development Policy and Practice from the University of Cape Town and is a World Economic Forum Global Leadership Fellow.
