Amy Krause

Senior Program Manager, Leidos, USA

 

Amy Krause is the Senior Program for Leidos’ Transportation Security Administration (TSA) efforts.  In this capacity she manages programs that provide for the design, engineering, installation, integration and evaluation of Transportation Security Equipment (TSE) at airports across the U.S. and internationally. 

Ms. Krause joined the company (now Leidos) in 1985 as a software engineer and assumed positions of increasing responsibility. She has held positions as Operations Director, Portfolio Manager, Senior Program Manager, Engineering Manager, Software Development Lead and Site Technical Planner for over 2,000 employees. She has served numerous customers including DHS, TSA, the U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy, and classified agencies. 

Ms. Krause holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University, and graduated magna cum laude from the University Of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. She is active in the community, with a passion for engaging youth in STEM fields. She supports the Maryland Business Roundtable for Education (MBRT) that works to achieve meaningful, measurable and systematic improvement in schools and student achievement. She is a member of the Maryland Scholars Speakers Bureau advocating student achievement, opportunity and options.
