Mohammed Murad is the Vice President of Sales and Business Development and a Board Director for Iris ID Systems.
A highly accomplished international business and technical leader with exceptional decision-making skills; able to take charge to facilitate directives that achieve strong, sustainable results. Mr Murad offers a unique combination of market knowledge and leadership experience within global identity management industries, with extensive experience providing strategic solutions to multinational commercial and government clients.
Directly reporting to Mr Charles Koo, President and CEO, Mr Murad is responsible for establishing and implementing the company’s strategic plan, building alliances with major business partners and large systems integrators, managing sales, software product development, and marketing. Mr Murad develops and executes the company’s management strategy with a focus on developing biometric identity solutions for emerging markets.
He has been directly involved in secure and implementing some of the largest iris biometric business system in the world including:
• Andhra Pradesh, India, 60 million people welfare program;
• India, 1.2 billion people UIDAI program;
• Mexico, 110 million people National ID program;
• Qatar Immigration and border control, 20 million plus.
Currently, Mr Murad serves as an advisor on the Secutronic board, the fastest growing security firm in Saudi Arabia, and acts as a proxy for Mr Koo on the International Biometric + Identification Association in Washington DC.
Having received a degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the College of New Jersey, Mr Murad has garnered extensive experience in technology on all ends, from development to product management, including over 12 years of experience with Iris Biometric Technology. Mohammed is married and a loving father of two.
